Public domain materials

Depending upon time of day, access from outside the library may be slow. All of these are in in pdf (Adobe Acrobat) format which is utilizable by most e-book readers. Some older readers may need updated software to read pdf files. Abobe Acrobat Reader software for various devices is downloadable from: http://www.adobe.com/
To download one of these e-books, right-mouse click the link and save the file to the Desktop of the hard drive (C:), then copy (or drag and drop) to your flash drive, CDROM disk, or other device. If you simply click on one of this files, it will display the first page of the document in your browser, but will not download it to an accessible location.
